In November, we were all very happy and extremely proud to learn that our gorgeous girl Hannah had been shortlisted for a Chronicle Champions Award, in the Champion Fundraiser category.
These awards are run by the Newcastle Evening Chronicle newspaper and are region-wide. Hannah was shortlisted with two others (both adults).
Needless to say, Team HHH is bursting with pride and so pleased for Hannah, who has achieved so much for someone so young, despite continuing health problems in 2016 which could have slowed her down. This girl won’t be stopped!
The awards were on the evening of Thursday 1st December, held at The Biscuit Factory, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Hannah attended with Mum, Dad and her brother Adam, who is her best friend and inspiration in everything she does. We were treated to a lovely three course meal and got to meet many lovely and inspirational people. We also saw a short video, explaining what Hannah and Team HHH have achieved and why she had been shortlisted. Hannah did not win her category, but did receive a framed finalist’s certificate, which is her pride and joy, and was enthusiastically applauded when she went up to collect it.
