Hannah has enjoyed a bit of baking this week, and given a helping hand too.
Hannah has made shortbread biscuits, gooey chocolate brownies and funky gingerbread men for Making Winter Warmer for Those Without, a group of volunteers doing brilliant work helping the homeless on the streets of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. They arrange outreach meetings on Friday night to distribute hot food and drinks, sweet treats, warm clothes and essentials, advice and friendship to those in need. They also help other charities and projects in the North East.
Hannah helped out at Christmas with a donation of some selection boxes, and was eager to help again.
Hannah’s baked goodies went to the Friday night outreach on January 22nd. We hope they were enjoyed by everyone there.
